Responsibilities

Analyze business needs, gather requirements, and design technical solutions.

Develop detailed implementation plans and documentation.

Implement solutions and provide training to support teams.

Develop and document models, plans, diagrams, illustrations, and procedures.

Create project implementation plans and production configurations.

Perform cost/benefit studies of network configurations and recommend enhancements.

Generate documentation required for high-impact capital infrastructure projects.

Research, evaluate, and direct the acquisition, installation, and testing of network hardware.

Perform site surveys, system evaluations, and analysis of technology and hardware.
-
Conduct ROI and cost benefit studies.

Create capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests and track progress of hardware & software orders.

Automate and simplify rollout of compute resources, providing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
-
Maintain monitoring tools and accurate documentation for all systems and services.
-
Ensure and implement infrastructure as per design specifications.
-
Perform asset management of server, storage, and virtual environments.

Support internal development, E-Commerce, and Web teams in implementing content and applications.

Essential travel may be required to various client sites within the US.
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, IT Management, or related field + 2 years of experience.

2 years of experience with VMware virtualization technologies (vCenter, vRealize suite/Server Admin), hardware vendors (e.g., HPE, CISCO, DELL).

Experience managing documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for data center products and services.

Familiarity with ITIL best practices for ServiceNow, incident management, and change management.

Proficiency in Powershell/PowerCLI scripting, vCenter, and ESXi.

Any suitable combination of education, experience, and training acceptable.
